Julie’s Friends is a non-profit foundation dedicated to extending the life of as many family furbabies as we possibly can. We achieve this mission by helping as many pet parents as resources allow, and who meet our program guidelines, manage medical expenses.
Founded in 2022, Julie's Friends is proud to be taking applications to help animals in need with a launch of December 1st to begin offering resources. Our application process will be ready here with our fully launched website on September 20th!

A NOTE FROM LISA & DIEGO HARRISON:
We established Julie’s Friends in honor of our late cat, Julie, a beautiful Oriental Shorthair kitty who changed our lives the day we met her. Julie was not adopted or fostered, but found in a dumpster and taken home with us to live the life she deserved. Tragically, Julie was diagnosed with cancer, which put an emotional and financial toll on us, one we soon realized that no one else should have to experience but thankfully, with the right medical treatment, she lived an additional three and half years of joyful life. After Julie passed, we decided that animals that have a future, but simply need medical care, deserve that future. It is our greatest honor to help extend the life of as many animals as our resources allow.
Julie’s Friends aims to do just that: to give financial aid to low-income families whose pets are in need of non-emergency medical care. Our goal will always be to find animals who have long lives ahead of them if only they have the proper medical attention. Applications open September 20th, 2022 on JuliesFriends.org.
